Report an Encounter of a Marked Bird

Have you already reported your Federal band? click here

Upon submitting a band report, we will provide the banding data for the bird, including the species, date, age and sex at banding, and the location.

In some cases, no banding information may be available because the band number was either mistyped or we have not yet received the banding data from the bander.

Please do not report a Federal band encounter more than once, this includes reports filed through 1-800-327-BAND (2263).

Please select the bird group, then use the appropriate link to continue.

Bird Group

   Report a numbered metal Federal band.
   Report a numbered metal Federal band and a color marker from the same bird.
   Report a color marker from a bird with no (or an unreadable) Federal band.

bandreports@patuxent.usgs.gov.

As of August 1, 2011 Certificates of Appreciation are only issued electronically via email or they can be retrieved, when ready, using the link below.

Signaler l'observation/récupération d'un oiseau bagué.

Avez-vous déjà signalé votre bague fédérale? cliquez ici

Lors de la présentation d’un rapport d’une bague, nous allons vous fournir l’information de baguage de l’oiseau, y compris l’espèce, la date, âge et le sexe lors du baguage et l’endroit.

Dans certains cas, aucune information de baguage peut-être disponible soit parce que le numéro de la bague a été saisi incorrectement ou nous n’avons pas encore reçu les données de baguage du bagueur.

Veuillez ne pas signaler la récupération/observation d’une bague plus qu’une fois, ceci comprend les rapports fait par la ligne 1-800-327-BAND (2263).

   Signaler une bague métallique numérotée du gouvernement fédéral.
   Signaler une bague métallique numérotée du gouvernement fédéral et un marqueur de couleur sur le même oiseau.
   Signaler un marqueur de couleur d'un oiseau sans (ou illisible) bague du gouvernement fédéral
   Si la bague de métal du gouvernement fédéral n'est pas complétement lisible et que l'oiseau n'a pas d'autres marqueurs, veuillez nous envoyer un courriel à:bandreports@patuxent.usgs.gov.

À compter du 1er aôut 2011, les certificats d’appréciation seront distribués que par voie électronique, par courriel ou ils peuvent être récupérés, lorsque prêt, en utilisant le lien ci-dessous.

Reporte del Encuentro de un ave marcada

¿Se ha reportado ya el anillo? clic aquí

Depués que termine de llenar este formulario, le proveeremos los datos del anillaje del ave, incluyendo la especie, edad y sexo del ave, la fecha de anillamiento, y la localidad donde fue anillado.

En algunos casos, no tenemos información todavía del ave, ya sea que el biólogo no nos haya mandado los datos todavía o puede ser que haya escrito mal el numero del anillo. Por favor verifique bien que haya apuntado bien el número.

Por favor, no reporte el anillo otra vez en este página ni al número -1-800-327-BAND (2263).

   Reporte de ave marcada con un anillo Federal metalico con numeros.
   Reporte de un ave marcada con un anillo Federal metalico que tambien esta marcado con otro tipo de marcador.
   Reporte de un ave marcada con otro tipo de marcador como un anillo plastico de colores o con codigos caul no tiene un anillo Federal metalico o donde no puede ver todos los numeros.

Depués de el 1 de Agosto 2011, los Certificados de Agradecimiento estarán disponibles solamente electronicamente via correo electronico o pueden ser imprimidos usando el enlace abajo.
